WTF? Snow in your forecast for next week?

I thought it was spring? Crazy weather. It's summer here already, high of 87 tomorrow and possibly a record breaker. But a cold front coming thru here early next week too with highs Tuesday only in the 60s. Doubt we'll see that again until oh say mid October. What we need is RAIN and lots of it. Our drought is so bad it's illegal to wash your car, have an ornamental fountain running, water your lawn and a number of other things between now and June 30th. (Which is when they hope our summer rains will have come in daily and replenished the water table) I don't think it's so much Mother Nature as it is over development. Where rains used to soak into grass and sand and back into the water table they now flow over asphalt and into storm drains and out into the sea. Pave paradise and put in a parking lot. Not just a song, for this area it's reality.

That's the short-term forecast. The long-term forecast calls for 70-75 wins at the most, the season to be effectively over by June, and mathematical elimination to occur by early-September.

True, yesterday was a beautiful day but today... not so much. And, it'll be back to being nice in a couple of days.

Citibcable (I think it's channel 23 on time warner) and wlwt.com are broadcasting the opening day parade for those who dont want to brave the cold or cant for some reason.

And was I not right? One loss down, 89 more to go.

I told you, Greg; you never believe me....

LOL! Well, it was cold, it was rainy, it was even a little sleety (if that's a word) but it's gonna be back in the 60's-70's later this week so we'll all just have to tough it out a bit.
